This is a re-shoot for my Urban Decay inspired day look, as previously I made some errors that I wanted to improve on. Overall I feel that the finished outcome is a lot better than the original attempt. I am really happy with the skin coverage that I have achieved, and I first thought that more contouring would have been better but then decided that for the day look I wanted a more natural feel and so was happy with the slight contouring that I created. I am happy with the make-up design of a nude eye and pinky gloss on the lips and I think that it works nicely alongside the hairstyle.
The hairstyle works well because it is quite simple, yet the two plaits add an extra detail. It is not a very smooth or sleek hairstyle, but that is the effect that I wanted to create. This is because Urban Decay's campaigns for their Naked ranges feature models with slightly messy hair, which I have tried to replicate here. Overall I am happy with the outcome from this shoot.
